Fireworks and Fun in Door County!

If your family is like our's, the 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays! We all don our red white and blue, and head out in the morning to watch our local parade. Later we cool off with a swim and then join with friends for a bbq. After a round of smores, we head over to the nearby harbor to catch the fireworks spectacular.
We hope you'll join us in Door County, Wisconsin this 4th of July! Because Independence Day falls on a Wednesday this year, there are festivities to take in all week long! Parades, water balloons, three-legged races, cherry-pie eating contests, a parade of boats and more! You will find something that each member of the family will enjoy:
- Egg Harbor Fireworks: Begin at dusk on Tuesday, July 3rd
- Bailey's Harbor: Parade at 10 am followed by 100 arts & crafts booths and inflatables for the kids to play on
- Egg Harbor Parade: An Independence Day Parade in the Village along Hwy 42 begins at 1:30 pm on July 4th
- Chicago Fireboat Fireworks Cruise: Cruise the bay and get a waterview seat until the fireworks end
- Old-Time Games for the Kids and Cherry Pie-Eating Contest: The fun kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, July 7th in Fish Creek
- Fish Creek Fireworks: Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show on Saturday, July 7th
- Venetian Boat Parade: Prepare to be dazzled as boats in the marinas and the harbor light up the night sky in this festive parade of boats in Fish Creek.
